Chronic Disease in United States

This is an univariate choropleth map depicting levels of chronic disease in the United States relative to poverty. You can see that areas such as the Four Corner Region and the Appalachian Mountains in Kentucky and West Virginia have the highest levels. This is direct connection with the high levels of poverty associated with these areas. http://www.cdc.gov/pcd/issues/2007/oct/07_0091.htm
